Polure Architraves

Polure architraves deliver pristine architectural framing profiles designed to highlight door, window, and wall portal surrounds. Engineered from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these architraves provide wood-like mechanical durability and crisp relief details while eliminating joint cracking, shrinkage, or splitting. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they are completely unaffected by steam, moisture, or mold, making them ideal for high-traffic corridors, kitchens, and bathrooms. Thermally stable between -100 °C / +80 °C and rated Class B2 for fire safety, every length is delivered pre-coated with factory white acrylic primer. Installation onto doorway surrounds requires cutting precise 45° miter joints, applying a continuous bead of polyurethane assembly adhesive across rear contact faces and miter joints (silicone is strictly forbidden), and fixing with countersunk screws. Fill screw recesses and miter seams with acrylic putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and finish with two coats of paint.
