Carved Column Capital
Polure carved column capital crowning decorative pillars adds classical grandeur to interior rotundas, grand entrances, and exterior porticos. Molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), this ornamental capital offers intricate carved detailing with wood-like strength while remaining lightweight. Designed for decorative, non-load-bearing installations, it features a hollow interior that fits around internal structural steel profiles; concrete must never be poured inside. Its closed-cell physical core maintains water absorption below 1%, making it completely resistant to weather, rot, and mold. Rated to fire class B2 and thermally stable from -100 °C / +80 °C, it arrives pre-coated with factory white acrylic primer. Installation requires clean, dry mounting surfaces. Apply a continuous bead of polyurethane assembly adhesive on contact edges; silicone sealant is strictly forbidden. Mechanical screw fixing is required, with screw heads countersunk, filled with acrylic filler, sanded flat with 180-220 grit paper, and painted with interior paints or exterior UV-resistant paints.
