Ionic Capitals

Polure Ionic capitals feature ornate dual volute scrolls and egg-and-dart moldings that embody classical Greek architectural grace. Precision-molded from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these hollow capitals provide wood-like mechanical durability while remaining light enough to eliminate structural stress on ceilings or porticos. Featuring a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they offer complete immunity to humidity, decay, and mold. Operating reliably across temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C with Class B2 fire safety certification, each capital comes factory pre-coated with white acrylic primer. Note that Polure Ionic capitals are strictly decorative non-load-bearing components; structural loads must be supported by an internal steel profile. Never pour concrete inside. Installation requires applying continuous polyurethane assembly adhesive on contact joints (silicone is strictly forbidden) and securing with countersunk mechanical screws. Fill screw holes with putty, sand smooth with 180-220 grit paper, and apply two coats of paint.
