Architectural carvings are decorative relief motifs with the appearance of wood or stone carving, used on column capitals, fireplace surrounds, furniture, and wall panels. In classic architectural projects, furniture manufacturing, and ceiling decorations, they are used to economically and quickly achieve the aesthetics of hand carving. Polyurethane technology copies the precise details of hand carving with millimeter accuracy for mass production. Unlike wood carvings, polyurethane carving motifs do not splinter, crack, get infested by insects, or get affected by moisture over time. Since they are not fragile like plaster, there is no waste during transport and application. Thanks to their lightweight structure, they are easily mounted by gluing onto furniture doors, walls, or ceilings. With paint and antiquing techniques applied onto them, a wood, stone, or metal look can easily be achieved.
