Polyurethane Faux Beam

Polure polyurethane faux beams bring the rustic warmth and authentic timber character of aged wooden ceiling beams into living rooms, dining spaces, restaurants, and hotel lobbies without heavy structural load. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (150-220 kg/m³), these hollow U-shaped decorative beams are meticulously molded directly from real natural logs, reproducing deep wood grain, knots, and hand-hewn textures with wood-like mechanical durability. Engineered with a closed-cell polymer structure with water absorption under 1%, they will never rot, warp, split, or harbor wood-boring insects in humid environments or outdoor porches. Thermally stable across temperatures from -100 °C / +80 °C and rated B2 for fire safety, they arrive pre-coated with factory white acrylic technical primer ready for wood-tone or solid painting. Installation is quick for a single installer: screw wooden support blocks/cleats to the ceiling, apply continuous PU assembly adhesive along beam edges, slip the U-channel beam over cleats and secure with countersunk screws, fill screw holes with acrylic putty, sand smooth (180-220 grit), and apply topcoat paint.
