Once the adhesive is applied, mechanically securing the parts to the wall with screws is a MANDATORY step. Screw heads and joints are filled with high-quality exterior putty. After the putty dries, the surface is smoothed using 180-220 grit sandpaper. Finally, the factory-primed surface is finished with one coat of primer followed by two coats of water-based or synthetic paint. For outdoor applications, using UV-resistant paint is essential.
