For professionals seeking both an aesthetic statement of prestige and a functional light source in modern architectural projects, our Combined Models offer flawless solutions. Developed by Polure, this exclusive collection blends the nobility of classical column forms with modern lighting column technologies to add depth to any space. Manufactured from high-density rigid polyurethane (PU), these designs eliminate the structural weight and complex installation processes associated with traditional materials like marble or stone, bringing ultimate flexibility to your projects. Specially designed for interior designers, landscape architects, and luxury homeowners, these columns are not merely decorative elements; they are architectural features that transform structures into living works of art at night. The Polure polyurethane illuminated column series perfectly unites durability and elegance in a single form.
Advanced Material Technology and Durability Standards
The superior properties of the raw material used in our Combined Models series ensure high resistance against all climatic and physical challenges. With a density of 150-200 kg/m³, this material offers a hardness close to wood while remaining exceptionally lightweight. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, its water absorption rate is below 1%, completely preventing rotting, swelling, or deformation even in highly humid environments. Maintaining its dimensional stability under extreme temperature fluctuations ranging from -20°C to +80°C, these columns preserve the millimeter precision of neoclassical details for a lifetime. Unlike fragile alternatives like plaster or low-strength options like EPS foam, they exhibit outstanding impact resistance.
Advanced Lighting Infrastructure and Dimensional Variety
The models in this collection feature a smart internal design that allows for cable routing and seamless integration of lighting fixtures. For instance, the 3-meter-tall columns like KASUT30A and KASUT30B, alongside monumental models reaching 3.5 meters such as KASUT50A and KASUT50B, house a secure electrical wiring conduit inside. The 640x799 mm wide base of the KASUT50B model provides excellent static balance against wind loads while offering ample space for large junction boxes. The column surfaces come factory-primed, ready for painting. This smooth primer coat ensures excellent adhesion for water-based and synthetic paints, allowing for the easy application of rich textures like faux marble, travertine, or bronze finishes.
Sustainability and Energy Efficiency
Crafted in line with Polure's green building standards, our Combined Models offer an eco-friendly and long-lasting structure. The insulated body structure protects the internal LED drivers and wiring systems from external thermal fluctuations, thereby extending the lifespan of the lighting equipment. Thanks to the ease of maintenance and repair, the surface can be sanded and repainted even after years, preserving its day-one grandeur without requiring complete replacement.
Usage Areas
Combined Models are highly versatile architectural elements suitable for a wide range of applications. Indoors, they are preferred as majestic corner lighting or door-framing elements in hotel lobbies, luxury restaurants, grand ballrooms, prestigious government buildings, and high-ceilinged villa entrances. Outdoors, they stand as powerful components of landscape architecture. Positioned along villa garden pathways, poolside areas, terraces, flanking grand entrance gates, or defining the boundaries of large open spaces, they create a safe and aesthetic lighting corridor at night. Through the integration of illuminated decorative columns and LED columns, they beautifully highlight the focal points of any landscape.
Installation
The installation of Combined Models must be carried out following specific technical steps to ensure structural safety and protect the electrical wiring. First, the installation surface must be dry, clean, and perfectly level. For outdoor applications, mounting on a solid concrete foundation is mandatory. After routing the wiring from the ground through the center cavity of the column, the column base, shaft, and capital are aligned. A 45-degree miter cut should be made at the joints for a seamless transition. High-strength specialized adhesives such as Polure Polfix must be used to join the parts; silicone-based adhesives should absolutely be avoided. Mechanical fastening with screws is required to guarantee the vertical stability of the columns. Subsequently, screw heads and joints are filled with exterior-grade filler and smoothed using 180-220 grit sandpaper. In the final step, two coats of paint are applied over the primer. For outdoor installations, using UV-resistant exterior paint is mandatory to prevent yellowing.
Care Information
Thanks to their closed-cell rigid structure, Combined Models require highly practical maintenance. A damp cloth is sufficient to clean surface dust and dirt; abrasive chemicals and acidic cleaners should be avoided as they can damage the paint finish. For outdoor installations, an annual surface inspection and cleaning of accumulated dust are recommended. Replacing the internal LED lighting elements or bulbs is easily done via the modular access covers located on the top capital.
